John Arrigo-Nelson's music has been performed and broadcast throughout the United States and in Europe. His work deals with ideas of temporal and timbral flexibility, and explores how contextual variation and fragmentation affect perception and function. He holds a PhD from Stony Brook University, and has served on the adjunct faculty at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana University South Bend, and Suffolk County Community College.
