amy galbraith, oboe Amy Galbraith is currently completing the DMA degree in oboe performance at West Virginia University. She holds a MM from Cincinnati College—Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Mark Ostoich. Presently, Amy teaches music theory courses at Chatham University. She also plays for the McKeesport Symphony and frequently performs with orchestras and chamber groups throughout the tri-state area. In addition to teaching theory, she enjoys teaching private oboe lessons through the Community Music School in Morgantown, as well as her own studio in Pittsburgh. This past summer, Amy toured Italy with the Point Chamber Orchestra. Previously, she spent two summers playing in Lucca, Italy, for the Lucca Opera Festival. |
